MSP430FR2355: What is AVSS?

AVSS is referenced in the MSP430FR4xx and MSP430FR2xx Family User Guide, but AVSS is not brought out to a pin. Is AVSS the same thing as DVSS?

Hi David,

Yes, you are right. AVSS and DVSS are connected together inside the device.

Hi Ling,

Thank you for the quick response. TI may want to consider putting that in the datasheet or user guide somewhere. Especially since some MSP430s have an external pin for AVSS.
