MSP430F6779A: SD24 signal flow

Now I'm using Energy Measurement Library for MSP430 MCUs with MSP430F6779A. So I have seen Implementation of a Three-Phase Electronic Watt-Hour Meter Using the MSP430F677x(A) to find how the signal flow from SD ADC to MCU like below figure (Captured from app note no. SLAA409A).

But it does not have figure like this in Implementation of a Three-Phase Electronic Watt-Hour Meter Using the MSP430F677x(A). So can Ti find the kind of this figure of MSP430F6779A for me?

Hey Nattapol,

Looks like there is a system diagram, figure 2., in the Implementation of a Three-Phase Electronic Watt-Hour Meter Using the MSP430F677x(A) document.

I'm not aware of anymore detailed system block diagrams for application report than the one include.

Let me know if you have any specific questions on the system configuration!

Hi JD,

Can you try to find that figure from another document?

My purpose is wanted to know mechanism details of meter measurement function using Energy Measurement Library for MSP430 MCUs. By starting from SD ADC performs sampling value from all the way through until get the energy result (Active power, Vrms, Irms and etc.)

So I think figure like I asked you to find. May be help meter to study faster on Energy Measurement Library for MSP430 MCUs.

Hey Nattappol,

If I understand correctly, you are asking for a system diagram that shows the steps inside the devices after the sample has been taken to calculate Vrms, Irms, ect. Is that correct?

I think I understand what you are looking for now. Unfortunately, I fairly confident that we do no have a diagram like that for the EMDC MSP430 library. I'm going to close this thread, but I'm going to send this feedback to the EMDC team and see if they can add any additional information here.
