MSP430F5438A: Combining multiple projects' hex files in to a single hex file

Hex files are plain text so a text editor should do the job. Watch out for conflicting data (reset vector for example) and select one.

Is there any other way where my IDE(IAR workbench) can generate the combined hex file. as combining both the hex files manually using a text editor will not improve my work effort.

I found this option useful so I implemented this inside my flasher ...

Unfortunately, AFAIK it is not supported by any other MSP related flashing software.

I am sorry to tell you that to have one hex file to combine two application code, you have two choices:

1. Do it manually.

2. Use a script to realize this function, such as JAVA or python.

The MSP430 that Zrno Soli use is FRAM series. It can erase and write by byte, which is different from flash. If you are not argent, I can write one using python for you.
