please help msp430f2274 flash write example !!!

Hi,

I just want to make the example code msp430x22x4_flashwrite_01 work. I have downloaded the code from ti web site. I successfully build and download the program using IAR workbench. But I can' t understand if the corresponding memory areas are written accordingly. When debugging the program, I open the memory window from the view menu of IAR workbench. Unfortunately I see no change in the memory areas that have to be changed. What can be the problem? I will be glad if anyone can help me.

just a small tip: did you try Code Composer Studio 4?

I assume that you did "Download and Debug". This will "load" the Flash memory of F2274 with the compiled code and allow you to "debug". At this time, Info-C and Info-D are not changed yet. Only the Main-flash is erased and loaded with the object code of msp430x22x4_flashwrite_01.

You need to run that code, which will erase Info-C, write Info-C with consecutive numbers, erase Info-D, and copy Info-C to Info-D. After that, you will see Info-C and Info-D are changed.

You can try to use CCS. But I cannot see how that solves your problem.

I migrated to code composer studio and that solved my problem. I could observe the memory locations, that have to be changed.
