MSP430FR2433: Implementing I2C slave code with driverlib

Hello all,

In one of my projects, I need to make MSP430 a I2C slave device with a number of read and write registers. How can I start implementing this requirement with provided examples with driverlib? Any examples will be really great to get started with as it's quiet a generic case.

Due to the fr2433 is a small memory device and the driverlib will cost more useless memory, I will recommend you to operate the registers directly. Hi,

My application involves only I2C slave, an ADC and a rather simple logic for controlling some devices. I think memory shouldn't be an issue for this app.

Going with driverlib increases readability and maintainability of the code, that's why I'm preferring driverlib over register level coding.

The Resource Explorer (Web) Driverlib example set for the FR2433 seems curiously sparse.

However, once you install MSP430Ware, there is a collection of master and slave examples in:

\ti\msp\MSP430Ware_3_80_07_00\driverlib\examples\MSP430FR2xx_4xx\eusci_b_i2c

They seem to be constructed in master/slave pairs, but you should be able to extract/adapt the core code from them.

I took similar approach, and after some trial and error, I was able to establish required I2C communication.
