MSP430I2020: How to build i2041 metrology project for the i2020

Any pointers on what modifications are needed to build original metrology code targeting the i2020?  I am using the older, original code that was built for i2041 (supper-set device).

The IAR project is made up of 3 different projects : emeter-app-i2041; emeter-metrology-i2041; emeter-toolkit-i2041

  • emeter-app-i2041             'C'
  • emeter-metrology-i2041   'ASM'
  • emeter-toolkit-i2041         'ASM'

I tried the simple option under program options.  i.e. under 'general options' - device - produced many include file errors

    Hi Marc,

    As Eason pointed out, this is the older code with limited support. What's the reason for using the older code base over EMDC? I'm assuming it's related to using the smaller (cheaper) memory device i20x0 rather than i20x1. It may not even be possible. Have you checked the Flash and RAM memory requirements for the i2041-based project? It may not even fit on the i2020.
