MSP430F67471A: MSP430F67471A

Part Number: MSP430F67471A
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430F67471, MSP430F6779

Hello,

We are planning to develop an R&D prototype board with an MSP430F67471 microcontroller. But these component is shown as a non-stocked item in all the vendor websites. What about the availability of this component in the future?. Kindly clarify.

Thanks,

  • Hey Murugavel,

Sorry you are having issues ordering the F67471 device.

The MSP430F6779 is the parent device the F67471 device is based off of. I would recommend ordering the F6779 device to create your R&D board and begin development. Once you are finished with development, you can order the F67471 device and use this (assuming the distributors have re-stocked this device by then). The devices are pin-to-pin compatible. The main difference between the 2 devices is the F67471 device has 4 SD24_B ADC channels, and the F6779 has 7 SD24_B ADC channels. As long as this is taken into account during your development, you shouldn't run into issues switching back to the F67471 device.

Here is a link to the F6779 device:

    Thanks,
