Can I install a socket on my MSP430FR2311  launchpad that will allow me to program any MSP430FR2000?

    Hi Randy,

    as long as you stay with MSP430 FRAM Value Line, that includes MSP430FR2xx, and of course connect properly the required Spy-Bi-Wire connections to fit the pinout of the used device, this will work. Probably the easier way will be just using the pin headers of the jumpers between debug and device section of the Launchpad, to connect the socket.

    Please see the HW User's Guide for more details on required debug connections and functionality of the MSP430 debug interfaces on LPs and other HW tools.
