MSP430FR2353: Help finding MCU alternative?

Part Number: MSP430FR2353

Team,

Not sure were to start here. Im looking for an MCU close to this holtek device: https://www.holtek.com/documents/10179/116711/HT67F5652v120.pdf

Is there something similar? Can you point me to some parts i can start looking at in the portfolio? The closest i found was the MSP430FR2353.

  • Hey Julio,

The best place to start when trying to match a competitor MCU with something in the MSP430 portfolio is to use the product filter tool on the MSP430 landing page. There are filters available that will directly allow you to cherry pick which peripherals and memory footprints you need.

Unfortunately in the case of the HT67F5652, we do not currently have a device in the portfolio which contains a 24-bit SD ADC + Op-Amp + LCD. This seems to be a very specialized device and you may need to engage with the customer a little further to determine if all of those aspects are required for their specific application. The MSP430FR2353 device you pointed out has 4 integrated op-amp SAC blocks but it does not have LCD nor a sigma-delta ADC (it has a SAR ADC). Once you determine the baseline requirements from the customer, you can use the product filter tool to find the MCU that meets their needs.

    Best regards,

    Matt
