CCS/MSP-EXP430F5529: MSP430ware: difference between tirex and exe installation

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I use MSP430Ware 3.80.07.00.
When installing from tirex, it's installed in c:\ti\msp430ware_3_80_07_00
But when using MSP430Ware_3_80_07_00_setup.exe, it's installed in c:\ti\msp\msp430ware_3_80_07_00

Also the tirex installation produce an "app" folder that contain MSP432 stuff.
And some bat file for java application are missing in the tirex install.

    That's an interesting observation. I'll share it with the team and get their feedback on this and whether or not improvements can be made to make this more consistent.

    Hi Nicolas,

    The different file structure relates to older versions of CCS that used product-specific folders in the "ti" folder. Some software tools still use this folder whereas others don't. I've submitted your feedback to hopefully make these variations more consistent. Thank you for your feedback and for using E2E.
