The IAR EW430 comes with a CPU simulator which also has some basic interrupt, multiplier and timer model.
A free, code size limited version is available here

Not sure, if MSPsim qualifies. I am a MSP newbie myself, so am looking for a confirmation.

MSPDebug, a spin-off of the mspgcc project, has some basic simulation features too. But it too doesn't go past CPU emulation and basic timers for now.

Can code composer studio simulate any program of MSP430 or ARM. and how?

I have the same question. Downloaded and installed CCS v5.1 90 day trial and TI simulator option was not available for MSP430...maybe a CCS plugin is missing?
