Can anyone suggest a codec ic that can be interfaced with MSP430G2553?

    I took a brief look at the MSP430G2553 and the device does not appear to have an Audio Serial Interface (ASI) peripheral that would be required for the I2S/LJ/RJ/TDM Audio Serial Data required to read from the Audio ADC and send to the Audio DACs in the CODEC.  

    I suggest you post a question in the MSP430 forum regarding which of their devices support Audio Serial Interface connections.  The DSP devices TI designs that have the McASP peripheral will work directly with our CODECs.
