MSP430FR6043: Ultrasonic gas sensors for MSP430FR6043

Part Number: MSP430FR6043

Hello.

I ask you to recommend ultrasonic gas sensor for the processor MSP430FR6043 with a low sensing voltage of 5 volts. Maximum working pressure 1.2 MPa.

BR, Andrey.

  • Hi Andrey,

1.2MPa is 12Atmospheres of pressure . That's a lot... most utility gas maters operate about 25..50mBar above atmospheric pressure (~1000mBar).

Your application is probably not main stream.

Talk to  https://www.piceramic.com/en/   or other companies addressing physical or industrial applications.

In utility meters for gas a pressure drop across the meter of ~2-10mBar is used to avoid adiabatic effects.

Q: what pressure drop did you calculate across the meter ?

The impedance adaptation layer (damping) would need to be tailored to your gas mixture/pressure...

    have a nice day
