MSP432E401Y: Hwi not being triggered

Are you using the NDK? It sets up the EMAC for you. Networking examples are included in the SimpleLink SDK.

Yes i setup the NDK in the syscfg file,my problem with the network examples is i want to use a cfg to setup the hwi but for some reason i get this error

Iam wondering why it would be looking for a tiva package?Iam creating the cfg file and it converts to a RTSC program and uses XDC fine.

Dick,

The EMAC driver (and EMAC Hwi) is setup for you if you just select the NDK in the syscfg file. For example in the TCP Echo example, you'll see 

This will cause the EMAC driver to be initialized (which sets up its Hwi). 

Also, It looks like you have included more than one SDK to be used. You just need the SL MSP432E SDK. Why do you have the simplelink_cc2640r2_sdk_3_40_00_10 SDK included also?

Ok ya i have the NDK setup the same way,ya it was weird by default it put all those simplelink sdk paths in the project only when i add a cfg file to the project though.Iam going New->Other->RTSC File then i get a dialog saying i need to add XDC tools to the project

Dick,

You added a .cfg to the project? That's the problem. You cannot just add a .cfg to a project. Why did you do that? Once I understand your reason for doing that, I can recommend a better or more correct approach.

Oh i did not know that i just want to add Hwi,Swi,etc statically into the program not dynamically in code how would i do this?

So am i not able to add Hwi like iam doing i should only create them in C code?I dont understand your last response

Step back for a second. Did you add a .cfg file into your project? If so, why did you do this?

Yes i added a .cfg file.

I added the .cfg because i still need to create other Hwi,etc statically and this is the only way to do it, iam following page 16 in the link below.Its my understanding if i want to use XGCONF for the SYS/BIOS is to create a .cfg file.

The udp_echo project i downloaded shows it as TI-RTOS so i assume i should just be able to make a .cfg file in the project.

Gotcha this all adds up now didnt know there was a reference to a tirtos build,for anyone else theres a link describing this too.
