MSP-TS430PZ100E: MSP low-power microcontroller forum

Hi!

I recently bought a MSP-TS430PZ100E target board set and 3 MCUs (MSP430FR6047IPZR) separately.

I've no experience with ZIF socket and don't know how to install the MCU. 

Could you teach me how to install the MCU or point me to where I can get helpful information?

And could you let me know what those 3 pins in the red rectangle on the left-hand side?

Your help will be most appreciated.

    identify the pin-1 of socket and MCU; press the socket; put MCU on socket using handi-vac, release the socket and check MCU is fixed by socket.

    Please check page 153 of hardware tools UG SW4 or 5: BSL Interface Switches Select which BSL interface to connect to connector BSL; SW3: I2C pullup enable; switch Switch On to connect I2C pullup resistors
