Hi，

MSP430I2040 can not write program to flash by SBW interface ，and I use the Development Kit MSP-EXP430FR2433 ，or the MSP-FET430UIF tool ，the question is all the same. following picture is my reference design

and I have used the G2755 ,G2553, there is no any question .

From my point of view, the problem may lie on the connection.

1. Debugger probe is good

2. Connection between debugger probe and I2040 is not sure. Can you give more details about this part? Like schematic?

3. I2040 is good? Can you make sure your I2040 works fine?

power is good ,does the i2040 any different from the G2755' SBW interface ?

No, eZ-FET on MSP-EXP430FR2433 ，or the MSP-FET430UIF tool support all MSP430.
