Is there a microcontroller available with at least 6 channels of timer/counter and CAN bus?

    I'm pretty sure there is.
    But not in the MSP430 line.

    There is no native CAN bus support in the MSP430s and I don't think there are MSPs with 6 independent timers. I think you can get 5 when abusing the RTC and the watchdog timer on soem devices.

    There are, however, many MSPs with a timer with 6 capture/compare units if this is what you mean with 'channels of timer/counter'.
