there are two quetions need your help:

1. for MPS430FR2355, does it support not erasing FRAM when bootloading firmware?

2. How to off-system programming MSP430FR2355 in mass produciton stage?

Hi Betty,

FRAM can be overwritten directly an erase cycle before programming like on Flash is not required at all.

Production programming can be done via the JTAG interface or the BSL interface. Corresponding information can be found in the corresponding users guide.

Hi Dietmar,

customer don't erase FRAM when programming. Since the FRAM is used to store some default data. my understanding is MSP430FR2355 can do this, right?

could you help share the user guide of production programming? thank you.

correct FRAM is not required to get erased before programming, here are some helpful FRAM documents:
