Hi!

Earlier I received an answer in this post to my question about Crypto-Bootloader for MSP430FR5994 .

Now I have the same question but about Crypto-Bootloader for MSP430FR2676.

I see that this image of Crypto-Bootloaderr is used only for MSP430FR5994.

Please tell me:

1.Does an image of Crypto-Bootloader exist for MSP430FR2676?

2.Do I undestand right that I cannot use the image of Crypto-Bootloader MSP430FR5994 for MSP430FR2676?

Hello Andrey,

unfortunately the Crypto-Bootloader does not work with any of the MSP430FR2xx/4xx devices. There are two components, which are missing. One is the AES encryption module. This could be theoretically implemented in SW as well. But the other component is the MPU, which offers essential security features, protecting the Crypto-Bootloader from being erased or manipulated. This of course cannot be replaced by SW.
