Hello I am relatively new to uart function in the msp430. I am trying to toggle an LED via bluetooth using the HC-05. I wanted to see if anyone can point me in the right way or show me a hello word type of code.

Please help i would greatly appreciate it.

Hi, Hayoon,

To use MSP430G2553 to communicate with HC-05, you can power supply MSP430G2553 and HC-05 with 3.3V. And connect the UART ports RX & TX pin with HC-5 serial port TX & RX pin. Then find the UART code example in MSP430G2553 code examples ZIP file. Copy it to CCS and select the device MSP430G2553. Update the code to match HC-05 communication requirement (baud rate, and protocol) and build the code to communicate with HC-05.
