MSP432E401Y: Quick start guide for the ethernet module

Hello,

I am trying to communicate between a Raspberry Pi and an MSP432E401Y using ethernet, without an RTOS (There is no scope for an RTOS to be used in the project)

There are three examples that come along with the SDK, but all of them seem to have a a lot going on without providing a high level picture of what it does, and how it works.

Is there some resource that walks one through a simple application for communicating with a server through a socket. I currently do not require HTTP level support.

Such a resource would give me a lot of clarity on how the system works.

it is recommended to check the training video of SDK introduction and training document of SDK academy.

The MSP432E launchpad user's guide and out-of-experience code also help a lot.

Hello Lixin,

I do not think I found what I wanted from these links.

Just to restate what I am looking for -

I am looking for a resources which will help me start building a simple point-to-point communication application over ethernet. For now, I will have a raspberry Pi which will act as the server and the MSP432 will be a client with a static IP address.

These are no-RTOS and should provide a starting place for what you are looking for.

Hi Kristen,

I went through them. I think Ethernet_weather is my example of interest.

The problem with these examples is they have too much application related code. What I am looking for, is a simple TCP echo communication demonstration. I am new to the platform, and would love if someone could break down this example for me to understand.
