The customer wants to implement S/W to use WS2812B (Intelligent control LED).

Hey Kuerbis,

This is not something that we provide, but I did a quick google search and it looks like someone in the community has ported/built a small library for the ws2812.

Here is the library for MSP430G2 launchpad: https://github.com/mjmeli/MSP430-NeoPixel-WS2812-Library

The license was not explicitly stated on https://github.com/mjmeli/MSP430-NeoPixel-WS2812-Library

So it seems we are not free to use, change, and distribute the software.

We found a different library that includes an open source license

https://github.com/RoXXoR/ws2812

I’ll find other example/library too and consider what is the best solution for us.

1. MSP430 library in assembly that should be portable (but timing could be critical)
