and a follow-up question:

Can we offer any TI SI/ perf. tools the customer can use at the RJ-45 to verify the quality of the signal and/ or BER @ line rate

Hey Michael,

Unfortunately, I found no examples able to generate the test waveform. I'm don't think anything like this exists, especially since it did not exist for TM4C.

I also couldn't find TI pref tools for measuring BERs. I don't think this is an offering either, but I'll ping the team to try and confirm.

I spoke briefly with the TM4C team briefly since they also support ethernet opportunities, but unfortunately, they weren't aware of anything for us either.
