Team,
Does this device have any form of protection for the Address/Data bus to external DDR/Flash memory?
Thank you.

Hey Brad,
I'm not sure what you mean by protection for the Address/Data bus. The Address/data bus matrix appears to be internal only on the MSP432E4.
Can you add to this question?
Do you mean security?
The MSP432E4 has an External Peripheral Interface (EPI) that can generate a separate external databus of 8 or 16 bits. Is this what you are talking about?
Thanks,
JD
JD,
Thank you. Does the EPI bus on the MSP432 line do any form of encryption/decryption to protect the traffic between the processor and peripherals?
Thanks.
The MSP432E4 has built-in accelerators for AES-256, DES, SHA/MD5, and CRC that the data would have to be passed through before being sent to the EPI. But, leveraging the accelerators I believe all data coming and going to the EPI could be encrypted/decrypted or hashed and signed/authenticated.
Thanks,
JD
