anyone knows a library for the sensor BMP280 that works on the Launchpad MSP430FR5969LP? I searched on google but can't find one for this specific sensor

Hi Julio,

I am not very familiar with BMP280. It seems to be a pressure sensor with I2C bus interface. We do not have a reference code for specific ICs. We provide some general example codes to help customers develop their products.

The BMP280 communicates with an MCU using either SPI or I2C and gives pressure and temperature data. A newer version is the Bosch BME280 that provides relative humidity as well. Both require that you read factory calibration coefficients to correct the raw environmental data. If you are willing to use bare metal code instead of Energia, I wrote a demo program to retrieve data from the BME280 using the FR5969 Launchpad with SPI. Displays on a terminal program using serial UART. I don't think it would be difficult to adapt for the BMP280, but I don't have that hardware to test it. Repository is here:
