MSP430F249: A checksum based verification using MSP-FET

Hello,
They asked me how to do a checksum based verification of the MSP430F249 flash memory.
Could you please advise ?

- They emphasized a checksum based verification, which doesn't read the actual flash memory contents from the F249.

- They would be glad if MSP-FET is used. They have MSP-FET. They don't have MSP-GANG.
(I read that the MSP-GANG verification is checksum based: MSP-GANG UG SLAU358, [2.1.1.5 Verify])

- For example, Uniflash works with the MSP-FET and its screen has a verify button.
We would be glad if it verifies by a checksum.

Elprotronic FET-Pro430 can be used for a checksum. The checksum options can be found in section 9 of the users guide below.

Thank you for your input about the FET-Pro430.
I understood that its software displays checksum value of both the source image file and the read result from the target flash.
I will suggest it if customer requirement is not covered by MSP-FET.

Please let me ask one more.
Do you imply that the checksum from target flash is not displayed by the MSP-FET or MSP-GANG related tools ?
