I have connected the JTAG as shown in the figure. and trying to use IAR IDE for debugging the microcontroller.
But not sure why it is not detecting, is there any issue with IDE options settings.

Hey Nagaraj,
Figure 2.1 of the MSP430 Hardware tools user guide shows the 4-wire JTAG circuit to use. http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/slau278af/slau278af.pdf?&ts=1589535358462
Based on your, I would say that your pull-up resistor and filter cap on RST are the wrong values. I would recommend changing them to the values in the above document.
What error are you seeing from IAR? Something like "Target not found?"
Thanks,
JD
Hi sir,
Ok i will change the reset components, but do i need to connect the test/vpp pin of Jatg to target, is it important?
Yes i am getting the error of " Fatal error , device not recognised ".

Hey Nagaraj,
Just saw this response. Were you able to get you JTAG working?
Also, if your MSP430 has a TEST pin you should connect it but I believe this is only on devices that mux JTAG and SBW. If you are using the MSP430F155 I don't believe it has a TEST pin, so then you wouldn't need it.
Thanks,
JD
