I am trying to make reader in pin 1.0 to read a trace of 8 bits.

Due the others uart port are not available i have to put this TX TTL device to comunicate via this pin.

To make this posible i configurate this pin to start read when generating a interruption and then read the trace of 8 bit.

The external device is configurated in 9600 bauds so the actual objective i have is read this pin every 20,75us, 8 times.

The problem i have is:

I tried to configurate a timer to read every 20,75 us but i thing the resolution is 1ms.

Do you know any solution to this problem?

I tried the function delay( ) but i think has the same resolution.

    Hi, 

    For 9600bps, the bit pulse width is 104us. It depends on how many time you would like to read the voltage level during this pulse width. 20,75us is 20us or 75us? 

    If you saw the resolution is 1ms, it might be some software overhead for the interrupt entry/exit. Please check the MCLK frequency and the interrupt subroutine run time, and you can find the clues.
