Hello All,
I am using MSP430LaunchPad to program an MSP430G2211 microcontroller and this program is a very basic program that blinks the LED that is connected to Port1.0. If I remove this microcontroller and place it on a breadboard, the system does not work. I am using a 3V battery pack for power supply and If I connect a ground from a DC power supply (the battery is still connected), the system works as long as I touch the bread board. If I take my hands off from the breadboard, the system goes off again. When the system works, it actually does not work in the way it is expected. The frequency of the LED is faster than it was on Launch Pad and port voltage is around 1.7V. Can someone tell me what possibilities can cause this problem? Since this is DIP package, I should be use it on a bread board but it seems like there is a ground problem which should not be there. I appreciate any answer or ideas.
Thank you,
Sedat
