Attached multiple txt files we have used for this.

Not sure what is exact procedure to create TI txt format using IAR. As per few links available in internet, we have followed and generated.

Exact procedure will help us to generate required format.

Also confirmation on usage of BSL scripter exe is correct or not.

Hi Krishna,

BSL-Scripter.exe is to execute BSL command, is not should to point program files.

There are some example : (you can found in the BSL folder : C:\ti\BSL-Scripter\Demo)

As shown above, MSP430FR2355.txt is the program file.

And TrioMsp430Project430.txt is a normal format.

We tried with your given suggestion still unable to flash.

Instead using BSL command lines where we are facing problem, Can we use uniflash tool.

As with reference of one TI BSL document uniflsh (v4.6.0 and and above) has integrated BSL scripter, please find attached image.

We would like to explore more using uniflash.

On same we have checked uniflash tool where we can flash using BSL scripter through uniflash tool.

Please do kindly support us on same and share any reference document (steps to be followed) to flash using rocket.

Yeah, UniFlash supports BSL download mode。

Attach MSP430 Development Guide Book link : you can refer to chapter 3.1 to learn how to use UniFlash.

Thanks for providing the information.

When we checked in uniflash tool, we understood that it is not supporting for MSP430F5659. Its not shoing up for  MSP430F5659 BOOTLOADER serial.

Also, As per attached image i have understood that, when Rocket is powered up by default Green and Yellow LEDs will be turned ON.

But on my rocket, when i powered on NO leds are turned on. I have verified the 5V and 3.3V on board. They are fine.

And verified physically LEDS are fine or not. They are also fine.

But want to know why LEDs are not ON when i powered ON. Can I continue flashing my FW using rocket without these LEDS  ON ?

Please suggest. Also what is the use/sequence of these LEDS. When they will ON/OFF.

As we are seeing no option available in uniflash for MSP430F5659 bootloader serial, we went back to command prompt application and done the changes as you have suggested. 

Still we are facing the problem. Attached are the total files we have used for this along with scripter file used.

Please guide us to know what mistake we are doing.

Recently we have noted that, With reference to TI MSP430 referece document, "The devices MSP430F565x and MSP430F665x come preprogrammed with the USB BSL."  As we are using MSP430F5659 controller, does UART BSL is valid option?. 

From one of thread in TI forum https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/msp430/f/166/t/553151?MSP430F5659-UART-BSL-binary. We need to rewrite UART BSL over default USB BSL. For that we need to have JTAG debuuger kind of tools. Please confirm our understanding correct or not?

Which wouldn't preferable options for our product. Because in factory we are not planning for any JTAG debugger tool access.

So we would like to initiate start working on USB BSL, please do kindly share reference document like reference schematic and steps to be proceed.

Please do suggest any other options we can go ahead.

Thanks for your replay.

Can you please share us the reference / used schematics that has USB connection to MSP430F5659.

So that, will use the same and add USB to our existing circuit and try to use MSP BSL USB to upgrade the firmware.

Your quick support is valuable to us, as we need to do required changes to existing architecture.
