MSP432P401R: How convert TI-TXT file to C Array

Hello There,

I'm following below's DavidL's suggestion to convert bootloader's TI-TXT file to C Array with srec_cat.exe tool.

Using the srec_cat tool, run the following command: C:\ccs_msp432_ccsv7_2_msp432p401r_oad\oad_bootloader_source_MSP_EXP432P 401R_nortos_ccs\Debug>srec_cat oad_bootloader_source_MSP_EXP432P401R_nortos_ccs.txt -ti_txt -o oad_bootloader.c -ca oad_bootloader -c_comp

But it's not working. The application stucks at srec_cat: standard input: 1: warning: ignoring garbage lines and nothing happens.

Any help is appreciated.

In 4.3.2 it describe a tool :430txt_converter, it can help you to do this task.

Hello Eason Zhou,

I have tried converting example bootloader's txt file to c array with this tool. But output c array doesn't match with the one that was in the example.

I think it's for msp430 only. But I'm using msp432.
