Hi, I want to design a customer board using MSP430FR2355 and I have a MSP430G2553 LaunchPad. Can I use it to program my design via SBW? Will I be able to debug?

Is it the G2ET Launchpad or the (older) G2 Launchpad? I'm pretty sure the G2ET can do it, but the G2 definitely can't.

Bruce is correct. The original MSP-EXP430G2 can not program MSP430FR2xx devices, but the updated MSP-EXP430G2ET used the new EZ-FET LIte which can program all MSP430s. This is shown in table 1 of the MSP Debugger's User's Guide.
