MSP430F5529: How to reset mcu?

Hi all,

I want to reset my MCU when it get some error state which has been defined in the code. is there method to reset by using code?

Hi ,

I have used soft reset (BOR) option for the same part in my application.You may choose other options as Dennis referred to.

#define SOFT_RESET    PMMCTL0 = PMMPW + PMMSWBOR + (PMMCTL0 & 0x0003)
