MSP430F5510: XIN frequency

Hello,

in the datasheet I could find only LF mode of the XT1. Can I apply 32MHz onto the Xin and MSP430F5510 will handle it correctly?

Hi Laszlo,

You can not connect a 32MHz Crystal to XT1 pin, as your description, XT1 just support LF mode, the max frequency is 50KHz.

If you would like to use the 32MHz crystal, you can connect to XT2 pin in HF mode.
