EVM430-FR6047: Error : HSPLL detected that the PLL has unlocked

Is there same phenomenon use the two way to download firmware?

I think you can check your hardware, especially the USS clock (crystal oscillator) circuit.

By the way, Do you check if there select water mode in GUI?

Looks this crystal is normal, I think you can use an oscilloscope to measure the frequency of the crystal oscillator.

Or you can use CCS/IAR IDE to debug this code to double check if this demo is PLL unlocked.

You can found the function of this demo is generate 10 pulses 1/sec at 10MHz, thus you can direct to check this function is normal or not.

You can also create a breakpoint to check this code run, such as: you can add a breakpoint in the follow line, if there can run to this line, that show your HSPLL Locked normal:

It seems that there are some hardware issue, do you have other EVM-FR6047 board? You can try this demo in another board.

When I use that program, and I do debugging (Resume and then suspend), it turns out that the PLL can lock (indicated by the HSPLLCTL.PLL_LOCK register),

But, when I used the water demo program again (CCS version, not the .txt file image) from the following link

and then I did debugging (Resume and then suspend), the PLL was still unlocked shown by the HSPLLCTL.PLL_LOCK register

It seems strange that the HSPLL initialization of these two programs is the same. We have no customer encountered this situation before. Does the PLL unlock situation always occur when using the water demo?
