CCS/TMP117EVM: No USB FET found error

I'm trying to debug a project using an MSP430F5529 launchpad and a TMP117EVM as the target MCU, but I keep getting the error message:

Error initializing emulator:
No USB FET was found

I've tried going into Project > Properties, and changing the connection from USB1 to USB2, and changing back to USB1, but I still get the same error. I'm running CCS v10 on Windows 10.
