CCS/MSP430G2553: How to generate delay for 1 sec in MSP430G2553?

I have used MSP430G2553 launchpad development kit.

I want to blink led using every 1 sec delay without using timer. Is there any API for generate delay for 1-2 sec??

You could try:

# define HZ  1000000UL   // 1MHz
 __delay_cycles(2*HZ);      // Spin for 2 seconds

__delay_cycles takes a uint32_t (unsigned long) so you could spin for about 4000 seconds this way.
