I would like to develop Wind direction anemometer by using USS of MSP430.
Can the USS of MSP430 measure wind direction and speed?
Do you have any reference design or information about this?

This is a snapshot of the 3D printable design which should give you a clear idea of how this would work:
I'll be releasing this as a parametric OpenSCAD design at some point, so you should be able to tailor the design based on your size and sensitivity requirements. I would recommend the TMUX1109(with a software controlled GPIO connection) to enable switching between the two pairs of transducers(this part would also enable more pairs to be used). The angle of the transducer tubes and their spacing from each other will determine how far away the bottom reflector plate should be from the transducer plate. There will be tradeoffs in sensitivity and robustness that will need some experimentation. I am starting with Jiakang 200kHz transducers for this design - but this can be easily adjusted for other transducers via the transducer tube radius parameter in the OpenSCAD design.
The bottom reflecting plate should be printed separate from the top transducer plate and will require 3 supports on the outside perimeter(you could use board spacers) of the appropriate length.
