Hello altogether,

i have made a design with MSP432E401Y with a 4-wire Ethernet port. Now we want to "shrink" the 4-wires to SPE. E401Y has obviously no MII interface to use an external SPE-PHY like DP83TC811. Is there a comparable controller (Cortex M core and package!) with ethernet and MII or RMII interface? Due to production opportunities BGA is no option. So E411Y is out of the picture.

We don't currently have MSP(besides E411Y) products that will meet your requirement.

Thanks Leo. The next question was for an other family. I have two restrictions: Cortex M and "handsolderable" package. Cortex M for software development reasons (license only for Cortex M). I'm not determined to MSP. So: Is there any other controller (other than MSP) which fulfills my conditions?

We also have some wireless SOCs that would meet your Cortex M + Package requirements:

I'm not aware of any existing single chip solution from TI that would meet all three of your requirements.
