Hello,
The SimpleLink SDK BLE Plugin (3.20.00.24) includes a simple-central exemple for the MSP432E401Y LaunchPad.
The the MSP432E401Y LaunchPad is coupled with a CC26x2R1 Launchpad that is flashed with a modified host_test
project, which implements a pure BLE Network Processor (NWP) .
Would this exemple work with a MSP432E401Y coupled to a CC2564C instead of the CC26X2R1 and hosttest ?
Which HCI API version would be required to have BLE 5.1 functions ?
Kind regards
Hi Frederic,
It is not clear from the documentation at file:///C:/ti/simplelink_sdk_ble_plugin_3_20_00_24/docs/users_guide_simplelink_sdk_plugin.html and the support forum at https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless_connectivity/bluetooth_low_energy/f/538 if CC2564C is also supported.
The BLE FAQ on TI products at https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless-connectivity/bluetooth/f/538/t/404236 has some additional information.
I also notified the TI Connectivity applications team who are support the SDK releases related to BLE.

Hi Srinivas,
Thanks for your answer.
Yes it would be great if the SimmpleLink SDK would include a Simple-central example for the MSP432 and CC2564C for Bluetooth 5.1.
There is a MSP432 stack for the CC2564C (see following document)but I understand it is for BLE 4.2.
So let's see what Ti answers.
Kind regards.
Frederic
Federic,
CC2564C is a Bluetooth BD/EDR / BLE combo device and is not supported by the SimpleLink Plugin. You can refer to the release notes for more information about what devices are supported by the plugin.
