Hi Forum
Just a clarification question about the ADC capture from your Water Demo Design Center.
The units of the amplitude is not given anywhere. Given that its an ADC output it must be volts, maybe mV. But I understand that the PGA amplifies the signal before it's displayed in the graph so the value of a given sample is [some mV] amplified [some dB] or how do i interpret the amplitude ?
Hello Lasse,
The ADC capture in the Design Center is showing the number of ADC codes. For 1MHz transducers, you should adjust the gain until you have 900-1000 codes. For 2MHz, 600 - 700 codes. The quick start guide below also shows some good information for getting your configuration set up for your meter.
