Does EVM430-CAPMINI support BSL using P2.5 (UCB0SDA) and P2.6 (UCB0SCL)?

In Section 6.5 of the MSP430FR2512 Datasheet, it states that P1.2 (UCB0SDA) and P1.3 (UCB0SCL) are required for I2C BSL, but these pins are not connected on EVM430-CAPMINI. If this is the only option, please consider adding test points to the demo board.

Hello Marcus,

The CAPMINI board is a small form factor demonstration board, but not intended to show every feature of the device. You are correct, P1.2 and P1.3 are not connected to anything in this design, so I2C BSL would require soldering wires directly to the IC on this board. For full evaluation of the device, I recommend the target boards. You can find details of these below.
