Hello,
Could you give me advice how to use the Out-Of-Box Demo GUI?

I’ve just got MSP430FR5969 Launch Pad and there are two problems.

  1. The manual says once the USB cable is connected, LED1 and LED2 at the bottom will toggle during the startup sequence, but they didn’t. Only the green LED at the top lighted up.
  2. Also, I tried to follow the setup instruction on the GUI but cannot connect to the serial port. I mean I can select the port (COM5 for my case) and I also can hit “Connect”, but it just resets in few seconds so I cannot use the GUI.

CCS and MSP430_FET_Drivers 1_0_1_1 were installed.
CCS detects the board automatically when connected.
“Out Of Box Demo GUI” was lunched from MSP-EXP430FR5969_Software_Examples>GUI>Binary>OutOfBox_MSP430FR5969_GUI
