Hello,

Could you confirm the following questions?

1.What is the minimum data rate of CC1310 and CC1312R?
  We expect that we can set the data rate under 1.2kbps.
  Also, we could find 1.2kbps settings for CC1310 with SmartRF studio, but we couldn't for CC1312R.

2.What is the difference between CC1310 and CC1312R?
  If you have the summary page for it, please let us know.

    Hi,

    1. Minimum data rate for CC1310: 1.2 kbps and CC1312: 2.5 kbps; there is no RF advantage with improved sensitivity by using a lower data rate for these two settings. A lower data can be set if required.

    2. The main delta between CC1312R and CC1310 is the RAM and FLASH memory:

    Thank you for your reply.
    We have additional questions for the answer of 1.

    Can we set the data rate of CC1312R to 1.2kbps and is there any disadvantage for the setting (1.2kbps)?
    You said the CC1312's minimum data rate is 2.5kbps and "lower data can be set if required".
    So, we think we can set CC1312R to 1.2kbps; however, we couldn't understand the influence of it.

    Hi,

    You could use a lower data rate 1.2 kbps than the preferred 2.5 kbps, but then the Tx / Rx on time would be longer and the current consumption would increase compared to using the 2.5 kbps rate.
