We are using TI MCU MSP430F5438A, there are two questions, please help answer, thank you.
1. Programming software uses MCU JTAG, which requires a hardware connector to be placed on the external interface of the device. The system relies on RS232 to communicate with an external PC. I would like to ask whether it is possible to use RS232 for firmware programming. Eliminates the need for connectors and programming tools.
2. We are going to use two MSP430F5438A, whether it can be divided into a primary MCU and a secondary MCU, the primary MCU controls the secondary MCU, and then communicates with the PC RS232
