Posting on behalf of our customer. They are currently having issues in configuring port 2 of MSP430FR2422 as UART. Here is a full transcript of their query:
I set P2SEL0 ( bis.b ##BIT0+BIT1, &P2SEL0), to any happens, clr P2SEL1 - no any signal on pin P2.0. If I set bis.b #BIT4+BIT5,&P1SEL0 - I see the signal with the oscilloscope on pin P1.4, that I send to UART. When I configure the P2 to out (and clr P2SEL1 and P2SEL0) and send digital signal - I see this signal with the oscilloscope. Thus P2 work and UART work separately, but they don't work together. How can we make this work?
