Hello,

I would like to use the TIDA-01486 as Booster to develop a flow meter for steel pipes with larger diameter.
I found in other threads to replace 4 files to be able to use the standard USS software to run the EVM with the TIDA-01486 BoosterPack.

Regarding this i have 2 questions:

1) Is the replacement of these files necessary in the newest software release (USS_02_40_00_00)? I wonder because the Param10 which was mentioned here: is already included.

2) If is use the original reference design for the TIDA-01486 which adjustments at the EVM is needed and what is necessary to connect both?

Hi Maki,

For the Q1: The param 10 value should be equal to the number of transducer pairs.

Thanks for your answer.
So the TIDA-01486 can be used used with only 1 pair of transducers without adjusting the Reference design? Just by connecting the transducers and setting Param #10 to 1?

Hi Maik,

You just would like to use the TIDA-01486 to increase the drive voltage of the transducer?

If yes, I think you don't need do any change for software and GUI.
