Hi,

I would like to have the clock output from the IO port of MSP430FR5962.

Q1：Can the IO port of MSP430FR5962 output a 4MHz clock?
　　Datasheet specifies the minimum value of the clock output as 16MHz, but could it be a mistake for the maximum value?

　　

Q2：Can this clock output be used as a reference clock for external devices?
　　(Can you provide accuracy information such as jitter?)

    Q1: I think what it mean is that this IO can at least output 16MHz frequency limited by the capacitance. Anyway, from my test, it can output 4MHz clock.

    Q2: Yes you can. That is our proposal. About the accuracy, it depends on the clock source. If you use external crystal, the error an temperature drift is from the external crystal. If you use internal DCO, you can find the error is about +-3.5% through all temperature.
