I'm a student who is working with the named microcontroller this semester on a project with assignments we need to demonstrate in class. However, my laptop runs Linux mint with a windows 10 virtual machine via Virtualbox, because I prefer to use Linux when possible. The class requires us to use a piece of software called IAR workbench for our demonstrations, and I runs fine on my virtual machine. However, when plugged into my laptop, the device doesnt appear with the list of USB devices on Virtualbox. I believe I correctly installed the drivers on both the host and guest OS however the USB device will not show up in Virtualbox. Has anyone ever had a similar experience and solved it?
