MSP430F5528: MSP430F55281RGCR : How to flash MSP430FR5969 using our EZ-FET custom board.

Hi TI support Team,

We have designed exactly same as MSP-EXP430FR5969 eZ-FET (on board emulator) board to flash our custom MSP430FR5969 IC based product.

But we are not able to flash our MSP430FR5969 IC based product using custom emulator board. 

So please let us know is the any firmware to flash customer emulator to make GPIO as swclk and io to flash external MSP430 IC based product??

Hi Pradeep,

You will need to put the MSP that is acting as your EZ-FET into BSL mode as described here: https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/slau319ad/slau319ad.pdf 

You will then need to flash the EZ-FET firmware to that MSP using the Python_Firmware_Upgrader which can normally be found in your MSP430ware directory at this path:

ti\msp430ware_3_80_13_03\usblib430\Host_USB_Software\Python_Firmware_Upgrader

(your version of msp430ware may be different)

I would recommend using the GUI and following the steps in the eZ-FET lite On-board Emulation Test Specification below.  If you downloaded this in the default directory, it will be located below.
